A friend of ours posted a similar recipe on Facebook. It looked fantastic. It was. A great recipe for fall and winter dinners. It’s amazing as a leftover.
Green Chile Relleno Soup
Add the main ingredients (excluding Mixing Ingredients) to crockpot and cook for 6 to 8 hours
Remove and shred the chicken
Discard the bay leaves
Add a few ladles of broth to a blender or food processor and add the cream cheese. Blend until incorporated
Return cream cheese mixture and shredded chicken to slow cooker and stir in shredded cheddar cheese
