Tomates Grehados
Charred or grilled tomatoes date back to South America around 7,000 years ago. Originally cultivated from wild tomato species, the practice of charring or grilling tomatoes likely began as a way to enhance their flavor and preserve them. Over time, this method spread globally, becoming a popular technique in various cuisines to add a smoky, caramelized taste to dishes. 🍅🔥
