Refried Beans
It’s all about simplicity and flavor. Starting with the convenience of canned beans, you enhance them with the rich depth of sautéed onions and garlic. The cumin and optional chili powder add a warming, aromatic spice, while the olive oil or lard brings a satisfying creaminess. Mashing them gives you that perfect, smooth texture, and a hint of fresh cilantro and lime can elevate the flavors to perfection. Every bite is a comforting blend of savory and smooth with just the right touch of spice. 🥘🌿
