Grilled Flat Iron Steak

Ingredients
  

  • 2 flat iron steaks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Fresh lemon juice optional
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs optional

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and dried thyme.
  • Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the flat iron steaks.
  • If you like, place a sprig of fresh rosemary on each steak for extra aroma.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • Place the steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting the time based on your preferred doneness.
  • Remove the steaks from the grill, wrap them in foil, and let them rest for 15 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
  • Drizzle with fresh lemon juice if desired.
